The Easton Garden Club is sponsoring the Easton Green & Clean Community Roadside Cleanup on April 18 from 9am to 1pm
Join us for this Townwide Roadside Clean-up Day! The Easton Garden Club, in conjunction with Earth Day, will be sponsoring "Easton Green and Clean" on Saturday, April 18th. Residents are encouraged to pick up trash and recycling bags at the Easton Public Library vestibule during library hours. This is a great opportunity to help clean up our streets and roadsides.
Please use black bags for trash and clear bags for recyclables (items you would normally place in your recycling bin). On April 18th, bring your filled bags to the area behind the library between 9 AM and 1 PM. The Public Works Department has kindly parked a town truck there for the debris collection. All Easton residents, scout troops, and anyone who values a clean environment are encouraged to participate in this Townwide roadside cleanup effort.
This event is focused solely on roadside debris and does not include personal household trash. No household trash will be accepted. Additionally, please remember that we will be disposing of waste at the Trumbull transfer station, which prohibits yard waste such as weeds, sticks, and greenery from being disposed of in the incinerator area. Thank you for your participation!
